How to make a payment for your Ground Rent (where Applicable)

Please be aware that not all of our Residents are required to pay their Ground Rent directly to Merlin Estates. There are however, a few exceptions whereupon we are requested to collect the Ground Rent on behalf of the Freeholder or a Third Party.

 

There are a number of ways you can make a Service Charge payment as follows:

 

  1. Go to your online banking facility via the web by using the information we sent to you on your “Tennant Demand”.  This would have been sent to you in the post. Should you choose to make a payment on line, we ask that you ensure you include your unique reference number which is located at the top of your correspondence and on your Service Charge or Ground Rent Demand.
  2. Call your bank and via your telephone banking facility ask them to make the payment for you. Please include your unique reference number which is located at the top of your correspondence and on your Service Charge or Ground Rent Demand.
  3. Send a cheque made payable to your Management Company (please do not make cheques payable to Merlin Estates).  Please include the following information:

 

  • The long 16 digit number across the face of the Cheque Guarantee Card
  • The Valid from date
  • The Valid to date

 

Unique customer reference number which is located at the top of your Service Charge Demand

 

  1. Visit your bank and make a direct payment. Please include your unique reference number which is located at the top of your correspondence and on your Service Charge or Ground Rent Demand.
