Are we able to have FreeView or FreeView HD for our apartment or house?
The simple answer to your question is yes as long as you can receive the digital signal for your area.
Our experience has revealed that the majority of apartment blocks have a communal terrestrial aerial system that in most cases can support Freeview and Freeview HD however, your TV tuner will need up dating to support this.
Click here to see if your area can receive Freeview.
Note: If you have any obstructions like tall trees or other tall buildings this can inpede your quality of service.

About the Digital Switchover.

Will my other TVs need a digital box?
Every TV in your home needs to be converted in order to receive Freeview.
This simply means you make a one-off payment for each box, because we don’t charge you a monthly subscription. You can find out more in our product section.
Will I need to change my recorder?
The UK is switching to digital region by region between 2008 and 2012.
It will be difficult to use your video recorder (VCR) after switchover so the simplest thing to do is to get a Freeview+ digital TV recorder with a twin tuner. This lets you watch, record and pause digital TV. You can find out more information in our digital TV recorders section.
